The Tata AIG Medicare Premier is a comprehensive health insurance plan offering advanced healthcare features. Available on an individual and family floater basis, the plan provides access to premium medical care with over 8,000 network hospitals for cashless hospitalisation across India.

It covers parents and parents-in-law above 65 years of age, as well as dependent children as young as 91 days old.

Sum insured options range from ₹5 Lakh to ₹3 Crore, ensuring adequate sum insured. Policy terms are available for 1, 2, or 3 years, with the benefit of lifetime renewability.

To encourage a healthy lifestyle, Tata AIG Medicare Premier includes a wellness program. Policyholders can earn wellness rewards by downloading the Tata AIG app from the Google Play Store and Apple Store.

Flexible Room Selection

With the Tata AIG Medicare Premier plan, you can opt for a single, deluxe, or shared room without worrying about sub-limits on room rent, even if the rent exceeds your policy's room rent limit.

OPD Dental Treatments

Unlike many other health plans, Tata AIG Medicare Premier covers expenses for dental treatments like root canals, extractions, and fillings. This coverage becomes active after a continuous waiting period of 2 years.

Global Coverage

If you are diagnosed with an illness in India and wish to seek treatment abroad, Tata AIG Medicare Premier will cover your expenses. The plan also covers visa application fees for such treatments.

Covers Hearing Aid Expenses

If a specialised medical practitioner prescribes a hearing aid, Tata AIG Medicare Premier will cover the expenses. This benefit is available every third year, with a maximum payable amount of 50% of the actual cost or ₹10,000 per policy, whichever is less.

High-End Diagnostics Cover

Tata AIG Medicare Premier provides financial support for high-end diagnostic tests, covering up to ₹50,000 for listed tests per policy year.

Exclusions

• Congenital external diseases, defects, or anomalies
• Alcoholic pancreatitis
• Intentional self-injury or attempted suicide (while sane or insane)
• Expenses for treatment directly arising from attempting to commit a breach of law with criminal intent
• Treatment rendered by a medical practitioner outside their discipline

The premium illustration is for individual cover, exclusive of GST. The premium payable under the policy will be computed based on the residential location/address provided by the proposer/insured person.
